KMA works with head guide Tanzin Lama. Tanzin was born in Tsum valley and graduated with a Bachelor in Tourism Management. He has completed his Basic Mountaineering Course and Mountain Leader Course.
Tanzin cares for the Nepal side of operations for the health centre and school. He was born in Lamagaun and has deep roots in his community. Going to Tsum with Tanzin provides immersion into the land and culture, and he has the most comprehensive knowledge of our projects.
